We met 16 years ago, which means our relationship is old enough to drive, get a job, and probably start rolling its eyes at us.
Which all has happened as we have raised 3 beautiful girls (Soiyer, Dailee, Portlynd) that are now grown and amazing, and continue to raise our dope ass boy (Rhett).
We have been doing for better or for worse for so many years and know our story is for better forever.
We have built a life of love and laugher, yelling and I'm sorry, and through all of it we still see the love and laughter louder than the yelling. How lucky are we! We have navigated so many ways to get through it all we could be famous authors.
We are already married in every way that matters, but we are ready to be official. There will be drinking, dancing, and maybe even tears.
And yes, after 16 years we still want to wake up next to each other-even if one of us is snoring or the other stealing covers.
